Hadith 149

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from al-‘Amrakiy ibn Ali from Ali ibn Ja‘far from his brother abu al-Hassan (a.s.), who has said the following
“I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about the newborn: if shaving his head after seven days from his birth is required. He (the Imam) said, ‘When seven days pass shaving is not required.’”
مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنِ الْعَمْرَكِيِّ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَخِيهِ أَبِي الْحَسَنِ ( عليه السلام ) قَالَ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ مَوْلُودٍ يُحْلَقُ رَأْسُهُ بَعْدَ يَوْمِ السَّابِعِ فَقَالَ إِذَا مَضَى سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ فَلَيْسَ عَلَيْهِ حَلْقٌ .
