ʿUyūn akhbār al-Riḍā
Hadith 235235 - وَبِإِسْنادِهِ قالَ: قالَ عَلِيِ عَلَيْهِ السَّلامُ: إِنَّهُلِعَهَدِ النَّبِي صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ الأُمِّي إِلَى أَنَّهُ لا يُحِبُّني إِلاّ مُؤْمِنٌ، ولا يُبغِضُني إِلاّ مُنافِقٌ.
235 - With his chain of narrators, he said: Ali (as) said: "It is due to the covenant of the Prophet (saw) al-Umi that only a believer loves me, and only a hypocrite hates me."
