Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl
Hadith 846 حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِی عِدَّهٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ عَنْ أَبِی الْحَسَنِ مُوسَی بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ: حُرِّمَتِ الْجَنَّهُ عَلَی النَّمَّامِ وَ مُدْمِنِ الْخَمْرِ وَ الدَّیُّوثِ وَ هُوَ الْفَاجِرُ.
3. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from Ahmad b. Abi Abdillah who said it was narrated to me by a number of our companions from Ali b. Asbat from Ali b. Ja’far from Abi al-Hassan Musa b. Ja’far (a.s.) who said: “Paradise is prohibited for three kinds of people – a slanderer, a drunkard and a sinner.”
