Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl
Hadith 542 أَبِی ره عَنْ عَلِیِّ بْنِ إِبْرَاهِیمَ عَنْ أَبِیهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِیِّ عَنِ السَّکُونِیِّ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع عَنْ آبَائِهِ ع قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَیُّ الصَّدَقَهِ أَفْضَلُ فَقَالَ عَلَی ذِی الرَّحِمِ الْکَاشِحِ.
18. Abi (rah) from Ali b. Ibrahim from his father from al-Nawfali from al-Sakuni from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) from his forefathers (a.s.) who said: Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) narrates from his predecessors that the Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) was asked, “Which Sadaqah is better?” The Holy Prophet (s.a.w.s.) replied, “Giving Sadaqah to an inimical relative.”
