Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

49. It was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan who said it was narrated to me by Muhammad b. al-Hassan al-Saffar from al-Abbas b. Ma’ruf from Hamad b. Isa from Rib’i b. Abdillah who said: The narrator asked Imam Ja’far Sadiq (a.s.) in Medina, “Where is the grave of the martyrs?” Imam (a.s.) asked, “Isn’t Imam Husain (a.s.) excellent among the martyrs according to you? I swear by Him in Whose hands is my life, four thousand angels surround the grave of Imam (a.s.) having their hair soiled and crying till the Day of Judgment.”
