Thawāb al-Aʿmāl wa ʿiqāb al-Aʿmāl

Hadith 18

أَبِی ره قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ یَعْقُوبَ بْنِ یَزِیدَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَبِی عُمَیْرٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ حُمْرَانَ عَنْ أَبِی عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ: مَنْ قَالَ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ مُخْلِصاً دَخَلَ الْجَنَّهَ وَ إِخْلَاصُهُ بِهَا أَنْ یَحْجُزَهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ عَمَّا حَرَّمَ اللَّهُ.
1. My father (rah) said: it was narrated to us by Sa’d b. Abdillah from Ya’qub b. Yazid from Muhammad b. Abi ’Umayr from Muhammad b. Hamran from Abi Abdillah (a.s.) who said: “A person who recites Laa ilaaha illallaah with pure intention will enter Paradise and reciting Laa ilaaha illallaah with pure intention implies that he keeps away from that, which Allah has prohibited for him.”
