Nahj al-Balāgha
Hadith 1937۳۷۷. وَقَالَ (عليه السلام): لَا تَأْمَنَنَّ عَلَى خَيْرِ هذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ عَذَابَ اللهِ، لِقَوْلِهِ تَعَالى: ﴿فَلَا يَأْمَنُ مَكْرَ اللهِ إِلَّا الْقَوْمُ الْخَاسِرُونَ﴾
377. Amīr al-mu’minīn, peace be upon him said: Do not feel safe from the punishment of Allāh even about the best man in the whole community because Allāh, the Sublime, says: But no one feels secure against the plan of Allāh save the people (who are the) losers. (Qur’ān, 7:99).
