Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh
Hadith 5805550 - وَ رَوَى اِبْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ وَ صَفْوَانُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اَلرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ اَلْحَجَّاجِ قَالَ : سَأَلْتُ أَبَا اَلْحَسَنِ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ عَمَّا يَقُولُ اَلنَّاسُ فِي اَلْوَصِيَّةِ بِالثُّلُثِ وَ اَلرُّبُعِ عِنْدَ مَوْتِهِ أَ شَيْءٌ صَحِيحٌ مَعْرُوفٌ أَمْ كَيْفَ صَنَعَ أَبُوكَ فَقَالَ "اَلثُّلُثُ ذَلِكَ اَلَّذِي صَنَعَ أَبِي عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ ".
Hadith.5550 - Ibn Abi Umayr and Safwan ibn Yahya narrated from Abdur Rahman ibn Al-Hajjaj, who said: I asked Abu Al-Hasan (as) about what people say regarding making a will for one-third or one-fourth of one's wealth at the time of death. Is this something correct and well-known, or how did your father (as) handle this matter?
Imam (as) replied: "The one-third is what my father (as), peace be upon him, practiced."
