Man Lā Yaḥḍuruh al-Faqīh
Hadith 575023 - وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ وَهْبِ بْنِ وَهْبٍ عَنْ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ آبَائِهِ عَلَيْهِمُ اَلسَّلاَمُ : "أَنَّ عَلِيَّ بْنَ أَبِي طَالِبٍ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ وَقَعَ عَلَى جَارِيَةِ اِمْرَأَتِهِ فَحَمَلَتْ فَقَالَ اَلرَّجُلُ وَهَبَتْهَا لِي وَ أَنْكَرَتِ اَلْمَرْأَةُ فَقَالَ "لَتَأْتِيَنِّي بِالشُّهُودِ أَوْ لَأَرْجُمَنَّكَ بِالْحِجَارَةِ" فَلَمَّا رَأَتِ اَلْمَرْأَةُ ذَلِكَ اِعْتَرَفَتْ فَجَلَدَهَا عَلِيٌّ عَلَيْهِ اَلسَّلاَمُ اَلْحَدَّ".
Hadith.5023 - In the narration of Wahb ibn Wahb from Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) from his father, Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as), from his forefathers (peace be upon them), it is reported that:
Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) was brought a man who had intercourse with his wife's bondwoman, and she became pregnant.
The man claimed: "She (the wife) gifted her to me," but the woman (wife) denied it.
Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "Either you bring me witnesses, or I will stone you with stones." When the woman saw this, she confessed, so Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) carried out the prescribed punishment (Hadd) on her.
