Hadith.4761 - Al-Mufaḍḍal ibn Ṣaliḥ narrated from Al-Ḥalabi, who reported from Abu Abdullah (as), who said: I asked him about the saying of Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic:
"And do not retain them to harm them so that you transgress" (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:231).
Imam (as) replied: "This refers to a man who divorces his wife, and when her waiting period (ʿiddah) is about to end, he reconciles with her, then divorces her again. He repeats this process three times. Allah (swt), the Mighty and Majestic, forbade such behavior."
