2. Muḥammad ibn Aḥmad ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to me from Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali Al-Zaydi, from his father, from ‘Ali ibn ‘Abbās, and from ‘Abdil Salām ibn Ḥarb, from someone who heard Bakr ibn ‘Abdillāh Al-Muzani narrate, from ‘Imrān ibn Ḥusayn, who said: The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) said to me, “O ‘Imrān! Everything has a place in the heart. However, nothing can fill the place I have in my heart for these two sons.” I said, “O Messenger of Allāh! (You love them) this much?” The Messenger of Allāh (s.a.a.w.) replied, “That which is hidden from you (the extent of my love) is even greater than this. Verily Allāh has ordered me to love them.”
