Faḍaʾil al-Shīʿa
Hadith 16 وبهذا الاسناد قال سمعته يقول: إذا قام المؤمن في الصلاة بعث الله الحور العين حتّى يحدقن به فإذا انصرف ولم يسأل الله منهنّ شيئاً تفرّقنّ وهنّ متعجّبات.
(The same previous series of relaters)… that Abu Abdullah (a) said: When a believer stands up for offering a prayer, Allah allows the women of Paradise to look at him. If he finishes his prayer without asking Allah to give him women of Paradise in marriage, they go back with astonishment.
