Al-Kāfi
Hadith 770عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الْمُغِيرَةِ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ( عليه السلام ) وَ ذَكَرَ الطَّافِيَ وَ مَا يَكْرَهُ النَّاسُ مِنْهُ فَقَالَ إِنَّمَا الطَّافِي مِنَ السَّمَكِ الْمَكْرُوهُ وَ هُوَ مَا يَتَغَيَّرُ رَائِحَتُهُ .
18. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘Abd Allah ibn al-Mughirah from those whom he has mentioned who has said the following: “Once, abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), mentioned fish which floats on water and what people dislike. He (the Imam) said, ‘The fish floating on the water are disliked because their smell has changed.’”
