2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ibn Bukayr from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about the case of a man who marries a woman but has not gone to bed with her. He (the Imam) said, ‘If he or she dies or he divorces her, she deserves one- half of the mahr (dower), complete inheritance and must count complete waiting period.’”
