2- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ أُذَيْنَةَ قَالَ كَتَبْتُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) أَسْأَلُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ لَهُ خَشَبٌ فَبَاعَهُ مِمَّنْ يَتَّخِذُ مِنْهُ بَرَابِطَ فَقَالَ لا بَأْسَ وَعَنْ رَجُلٍ لَهُ خَشَبٌ فَبَاعَهُ مِمَّنْ يَتَّخِذُهُ صُلْبَانَ قَالَ لا.
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Umar ibn ‘Udhaynah who has said the following: “I once wrote to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and asked about a man who had a piece of wood and sold it to those who make barbat (musical tool) out of it. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is not unlawful.’
