Al-Kāfi
Hadith 2107- عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ هِشَامٍ الصَّيْدَلانِيِّ قَالَ قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ (عَلَيْهِ السَّلام) يَا هِشَامُ إِنْ رَأَيْتَ الصَّفَّيْنِ قَدِ الْتَقَيَا فَلا تَدَعْ طَلَبَ الرِّزْقِ فِي ذَلِكَ الْيَوْمِ.
7. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from ‘Isma’il ibn Muhammad al-Minqariy from Hisham al- Saydalaniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, £ 0 Hisham, even if you find yourself in the two armies facing each other to fight, you must not neglect working for your sustenance on such day.’”
