Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Imran from Ziyad al-Qandiy from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), once said to me, ‘If there are two Thursdays in the beginning of a month, it is better to fast the first one. If two Thursdays come at the end of a month, it is better to fast the last Thursday.”’
