Al-Kāfi
Hadith 8232ـ عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنْ حَرِيزٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ (عَلَيْهِ الْسَّلام) قَالَ يُصْنَعُ لأَهْلِ الْمَيِّتِ مَأْتَمٌ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ مِنْ يَوْمَ مَاتَ.
2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad from Hariz from Zurarah who has said the following: “Abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘Mourning ceremony is organized for a deceased for three days, beginning from the day of his death.’”
