Al-Kāfi
Hadith 115535ـ جَمَاعَةٌ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الْجَعْفَرِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ أَذِّنْ فِي بَيْتِكَ فَإِنَّهُ يَطْرُدُ الشَّيْطَانَ وَيُسْتَحَبُّ مِنْ أَجْلِ الصِّبْيَانِ.
35. A group has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Sulayman al-Ja‘fariy who has said the following: “I once heard him (the Imam (a.s.)), say, ’Recite the Adhan in your house, for it repels Satan and it is a beloved thing to do for the sake of children.’”
