Al-Kāfi
Hadith 3343ـ الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَحْمَدَ النَّهْدِيِّ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ عَنِ الْعَوَّامِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ مَنْ رَقَّ وَجْهُهُ رَقَّ عِلْمُهُ.
3. Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad has narrated from Muhammad ibn Ahmad al-Nahdi from Mus’ab ibn Yazid from al -‘Awwam ibn al-Zubayr from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘One whose face is thin (bashful and shy) has thin knowledge.’”
