16. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad ibn Khalid from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa from ibn Muskan from Muhammad ibn Marwan from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Beware of joking; it eliminates the dignity of one’s face and his respect.”
