Al-Kāfi

Hadith 1695

3ـ عَنْهُ عَنِ الْحَجَّالِ عَنْ ثَعْلَبَةَ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ كَانَ أَبِي (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) إِذَا حَزَنَهُ أَمْرٌ جَمَعَ النِّسَاءَ وَالصِّبْيَانَ ثُمَّ دَعَا وَأَمَّنُوا.
3. It is narrated from him (narrator of the Hadith above) from al-Hajjal from Tha’labah from Ali ibn ‘Uqbah from a man from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.) has said, ‘Whenever something saddened my father he would call the ladies and children together. He would then pray and they would say, ‘Amin.’”
