Al-Kāfi
Hadith 10726ـ عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ الْكِنْدِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الله (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ جَبْرَئِيلُ (عَلَيهِ السَّلام) لِلنَّبِيِّ (صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وآلِه) إِيَّاكَ وَمُلاحَاةَ الرِّجَالِ.
6. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from al-Hassan ibn al-Husayn al-Kindy from Abu ‘Abdillah (a.s.) who has said the following: “Jibril (Gabriel) said to the Holy Prophet, ‘Beware of engaging in disputes against men.’”
