There is No Particular Du’a or Salam in Salah (Prayer) for a Dead Body

“Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has said, ‘There is no particularly prescribed prayer to say in Salah (prayer) for a deceased. You can pray whatever prayer you like; and the most deserving is the believing person who has just died…

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘There is no Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) to end Salah (prayer) for a deceased.’”

“Abu Ja‘far, and abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), have said, ‘There is no Salam (the phrase of offering greeting of peace) to end Salah (prayer) for a deceased.’”
