The Wild Thyme

“Abu al-Hassan, al-Awwal (a.s.), has said that the medicine of ’Amir al-Mu’minin was wild thyme, ’Amir al-Mu’minin would say, Thyme becomes fuzz and fluff for the stomach like that of velvet.’”

“I once complained before abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about rutubah (acidity) and he (the Imam) commanded me to eat thyme complete and uncrushed.”
